Formed in 2019, Pride New Albany is a nonprofit organization that exists to promote inclusion and foster a sense of belonging for LGBTQ+ people of all ages in our community and beyond.
The Purposeful Co. has been a proud supporter of Pride New Albany for the past 3 years and were honored to create their hard enamel logo pin that is used to promote their cause in the community

Gay For Good mobilizes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) and ally volunteers to promote diversity, foster inclusion and strengthen ties to the broader community.
The Purposeful Co. has been a proud supporter of Gay for Good for the past 4 years, not only donating a portion of our flag pins sales, but also volunteering at various events in the community.

Daybreak Dayton is a compassionate and dedicated organization committed to transforming the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness. Their mission is simple yet profound: to empower homeless youth and young adults to achieve stability and self-sufficiency. Within Daybreak, David’s Place has services designed specifically to meet the needs of the homeless LGBTQ+ youth population.

About The Purposeful Co.

The Purposeful Co’s roots began in 2016, after a trip my partner and I were visiting Orlando at the time of the Pulse Nightclub massacre. We both worked at Walt Disney World Resort years ago and still had many family and friends in the Orlando area at the time… Many of which were part of the LGBTQ+ community, and some that had friends that were actually there that night. So, with this in mind, we wanted to find a way to give back and support LGBTQ+ organizations. With both of us having a background in retail, we decided to produce an assortment of LGBTQ flag pins, giving proceeds back to local charitable organizations.

Originally named Flag Pins for a Cause, The Purposeful Co. has expanded beyond flag designs into multiple product designs and categories. The product assortment has extended to also support Black Lives Matter, First Responders, AAPI, and Pet Rescues and we now partner with national charitable organizations to support their causes with custom products that are used in fundraisers, events and festivals.

We are a small, women’s owned business located in Columbus, Ohio and continue to give back and support local causes such as Gay for Good, Pride New Albany, Columbus Urban League and PetPromise.
